FindLocalProduce.Net Launches the First National Web-Site to Help Users Find Local

Find Local Produce, LLC. Owner Ted Copeland has launched FindLocalProduce.Net the first national web site devoted to helping consumers easily locate locally grown produce.

With only a couple clicks, users of FindLocalProduce.Net will be able to access a list of local farmers growing produce in their area. The web site currently contains over 7,000 growers in the database and will continue to grow.

Each grower has a free basic listing that highlights their name, city and state. For a nominal annual fee they can obtain an extended listing that will show potential consumers: exact address, contact person, phone number, type of commodities grown, what produce is in season, email and web addresses and locations where consumers can buy their products. Supermarkets, food services companies and wholesales can also purchase ads informing their customers that they support local produce too and that it can be purchased from their companies. In addition, Find Local Produce, LLC has pledged 10 percent of all proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House of Savannah, GA

It is Copeland's mission to bring the public and farmers into direct communication. FindLocalProduce.Net will allow some of our nation's hardest workers, farmers, to easily communicate to their customers. The web site gives consumers the opportunity to join the universal green movement by buying local, making our environment more sustainable, adding fewer pollutants to our environment, and leaving less carbon footprints. Buying local produce also injects money back into the local economy by putting money back in the pockets of neighboring farmers.

FindLocalProduce.Net allows buyers to find nearby supermarkets and other retail locations selling local farm fresh produce without the need to travel to the farm. The site will also feature a blog offering newsworthy information about the produce industry. This new site can be accessed today at http://www.findlocalproduce.net.
