Sunkist has good but challenging year

Hard work, strategic planning and strict discipline helped provide producers for Sherman Oaks, Calif.-based Sunkist Growers Inc. with some of the industry's highest returns per acre in 2009, Nick Bozick, chairman of the board, reported at the co-op's 116th annual meeting in Visalia, Calif., Feb. 17, according to a news release.
