Safeway's Burd to speak at United Fresh

Steven A. Burd, president and chief executive officer of Safeway Inc., Pleasanton, Calif., has been selected to present the keynote address May 5 at the United Fresh Produce Association's 2008 convention in Las Vegas, according to a news release.
