PBH adds video center to Web site
Wilmington, Del.-based Produce for Better Health Foundation will kick off a new video center on the Fruits & Veggies – More Matters Web site with a library of 275 short informational videos featuring produce celebrity Michael Marks, known as Your Produce Man, according to a news release.
The video center can be accessed by visiting www.fruitsandveggiesmorematters.org/video/VideoCenter.php.
The new online content offers added value for consumer Web site visitors and more opportunities for interested PBH donors to put their products in front of an engaged audience, the release said.
The videos will be promoted regularly on the site's home page and in PBH's biweekly e-newsletter to consumer subscribers, Keeping Mom's Informed. New video content will be added as it becomes available.
"These videos educate consumers about fruits and vegetables, teaching them about proper selection and storage methods, demonstrating recipe preparation and passing on a lot of other fun, useful information that encourages the consumption of more fruits and vegetables," Elizabeth Pivonka, PBH president and chief executive officer, said in the release.
"The video center is designed to attract more visitors and keep them on the site longer to ensure the Fruits & Veggies –More Matters message reaches an even wider audience," she said.
